Two Top-Tier Heroes Nerfed in Game Update
According to Melbet APK reports, the test server of Honor of Kings has recently adjusted five heroes, including buffs for Mi Yue, Hai Yue, and Yun Ying, while Huang Zhong and Laecio received noticeable nerfs. There’s also a partial rollback on the Cocoon Breaker outfit. In life, it’s not about where you stand, but the direction you’re heading. First, the Cocoon Breaker’s passive bonus to magic attack and penetration has been slightly reduced. For Mi Yue, her movement skill duration has been extended, and a picture-in-picture (PiP) feature has been added to improve visual clarity.
This adjustment means her shadow energy now remains at its maximum range, extending the available time for repositioning and increasing operational flexibility. The new PiP function lets players easily track both Mi Yue and her shadow’s positions on screen. They may not have books or pens, but they’ve got the heart to pass the test. Hai Yue has also been buffed—her true damage has been increased, which benefits both wave clearing and teamfight effectiveness.
Yun Ying received changes too. Her healing skill has been tuned, and she now gains a new passive effect called Spear Intent, which allows for critical strikes. This newly unlocked critical hit mechanic means Yun Ying can now use gear and inscriptions to enhance her jungle clearing speed, opening the door to new crit-focused playstyles. The exact balance impact of these builds still needs further testing. Meanwhile, Huang Zhong has been nerfed—his skill-based attack bonus has been reduced, and his armor penetration effect in early to mid-game has been weakened.
Melbet APK players have noted that this will make Huang Zhong significantly weaker during the early phase, increasing his chances of being suppressed by aggressive opponents and slowing his development curve. Laecio, on the other hand, had his basic attack range shortened—a significant change considering how dominant he has been in the current live version. This nerf is clearly meant to tone him down and discourage passive long-range farming. After every cloudy day, the sun will shine through—warm and brilliant.
These adjustments are expected to roll out to the official server soon. As a result, Huang Zhong and Laecio—the two dominant marksmen for ranking up—will face a drop in performance. Right now, both heroes still enjoy high win rates in ranked mode, so if you’re planning to push your rank, now’s the time to use them before the nerfs go live.
